Some Quick Facts About Us: 

The 'Gales were founded in 1982 here at Carleton college.

This year, we carry 13 singers, but this number is in flux depending on the blend and sound of the group. As such, we aceept as many or as few new members each year as we feel will help the group.

We arrange all of our own music. 

Currently, we practice in Dacie Moses house from 8-9:30 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays, and from 4-6 on Sundays.

Our lastest album is the "Cookie Album," released last school year and featuring the group of 2004-2005.

Auditions for the 'Gales are held in the very beginning of each school year. Auditionees should come prepared to sing scales and with a prepared unaccompanied solo that showcases their voice. Piano playing or arranging abilities are a plus but are by no means required for membership in the group.

We encourage any ladies with great voices to come audition and possibly be part of the great radition of the Knightingales.
